I am a Street Outreach Specialist within our Family Center.
Brief description of what you do and the program you are in (2-3 sentences)?
I get to work with individuals experiencing homelessness and help remove barriers they are facing to obtaining stable housing. The goal is to cut down on homelessness in our surrounding counties.
What inspires you about the work that you do?
I am inspired by the fact that Brighton Center has helped me, all I want is to give back. Individuals that people normally turn their heads past or walk past need advocates. Being there for them inspires me.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a bowler! Other than that I love being with my kids, family, and friends.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about those struggling with substance use and seeking recovery. I am also passionate about those transitioning out of incarceration and back in society.
