Last year Brighton Center served over 66,000 individuals and families through 41 different programs that support Northern Kentucky. We wish to thank our over 2,000 volunteers who give of their time, talent, and treasure that make our community strong.

BECOME A TUTOR

Want to help a child learn to read?

What: HOSTS (Help One Student to Succeed) Program pairs adults with students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades to improve the student’s reading skills. As a tutor, you will be asked to help the student with specific skills, like reviewing sight words or reading a book.
 
Where: HOSTS Program

When: Sessions with students are ½ hour long.
 
Why: When tutors work with a child, that child’s reading comprehension improves! They grow in confidence and they do better in the classroom overall! Why wait? Become a tutor today!
