Youth Services: Youth Services
promotes positive youth development and provides an array of services for
at-risk youth and their families. Program funding is provided by United
Way, State, Federal and private funding sources.

Programs include:

Homeward Bound Runaway Shelter
Homeward Bound is an emergency shelter, which
provides a safe environment and residential treatment services for
runaway and homeless youth, ages 11-17.

Project Safe Place
Project Safe Place is an outreach program which utilizes
trained volunteers and businesses in the community to assist youth in
crisis.

Family Preservation/Reunification Program
Family Preservation Programs
provide in-home services for
youth and families dealing with crisis and works toward keeping the family
together when appropriate.

|
Street Strategies
Provides aggressive community outreach
services for homeless and runaway youth.
|
|
|
Independent Living Services Transitional Living Program-
provides residential and scattered site apartment services in the community
as well as life skills training and case management services for youth ages
18-20, committed to the state, who have exited state foster care at 18.

Court Support Court Support provides assessment, case management
and referral services for youth and families in lieu of detention and court
involvement.

Passages Passages
provides facilitated case
planning services for children, youth and families involved in the state
foster care system working toward permanency placement.

Family Choice
Family Choice promotes and improves planning, social decision
making skills, and life skills among families and their at-risk youth in the
6th, 7th, and 8th grades, ages 11-14. The project partners with
the Northern Kentucky Learning Academy, Community Youth Development Council,
and Campbell County Fiscal Court. |

Teen Choice
Teen Choice works to promote and improve planning, social
decision making skills, conflict resolution skills, and life skills among
at-risk youth in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, ages 11-14. The program
