Wherever there is a need, Brighton Center has always been there to help!
We are a community of support.

Last year Brighton Center served over 66,000 individuals and families through 41 different programs that support Northern Kentucky. We wish to thank our over 2,000 volunteers who give of their time, talent, and treasure that make our community strong.

Family Center:

Family Center programs build long-term partnerships with individuals and families in an effort to achieve self-sufficiency.  Program funding is provided by United Way, State, Federal and private funding sources.

Bright Futures

Bright Futures is a home visitation program serving families in the Newport Independent School System with children ages up to 3 years of age.  Program goals center on encouraging parents to work with their children on developmentally significant activities to enhance family functioning, emergent literacy and school readiness.

 

 

 

 

 


Every Child Succeeds
Every Child Succeeds is a home visitation program for first time parents in Campbell and Boone Counties.  The goal of the program is to encourage positive parent-child interaction, increase child-health indicators, and increase the percentage of children with normal or above normal development.

 


Family Support
Emergency Assistance

Emergency Assistance works with individuals and families to provide food, clothing, furniture, and financial support.  Families are able to participate in the USDA commodities and Family Food Programs.

Family Development

Family Development works with residents on Newport and Dayton Kentucky to build skills that will lead to self-sufficiency such as employment, GED classes, college, homeownership and budget management.

 



Quilting Class

Seniors meet once a week to work on producing quilts for the group.

 


Sewing Class

Community youth meet twice a week to work on art and sewing projects.
